Position:
Contracts Manager - currently supporting operations in the North. Working on a mixture of contracts. Currently focusing on an exciting new contract (not sure how much we can say at the moment). But focusing ...on building a team and ensuring the lads have everything they need for jobs to run smoothly.

What’s your role, and what do you work on? Previously played rugby and went to university for a few years with Trystan. After a coffee and a chat the exciting direction the company are going in and the values that were clearly shown it was a no brainer.

Coffee, ideally a flat white!

What’s a fun fact not many people know about you?
I am still playing semi-professional rugby for Rotherham Titans.

Meet: Madison
Position: Fleet Admin

Time at Taylor’s: 2 months

What’s your role and what do you work on?

My role focuses on admin for our fleet all around the UK and Ireland! I make sure all our vehicles are road legal and safe to drive by taxing them, booking ...in MOTs, services, and repairs. I also handle things like driving licence checks, fuel cards, tolls, breakdowns, recovery, and insurance to name a few. I’m the main point of contact for all things vehicles! A newer part of my role is also overseeing the wrapping of the vans, so that they look just as pretty as they drive!

What drew you to the company?

I’ve known Pete and Leah for ages, and I love that they’ve let their personalities shine through the business as well. I think the people you work with can make or break a job, and the company I was with previously was not supportive at all. I knew a few people working at Taylor’s already, and everyone I met at my interview was so lovely and welcoming instantly. I knew I wanted to be part of the team straight away - I left my old job and haven’t thought about it since!!

Tea or Coffee?

I’m a proper summer girl, so I prefer my teas and coffees iced and sweet! But as far as hot drinks go, I’d say tea by a mile (and I’ve only started drinking hot tea in the last year!). I’m not a fan of coffee at all, but the team are adamant that they will convert me!!

What’s a fun fact not many people know about you?

I love to sing! I’ve taken performing in front of over a thousand people in my stride, but ironically in small audiences I get terrible stage fright!!

I was also named Madison because the first time my parents heard the name was while they were watching Splash, so being named after a mermaid is pretty cool too 🧜🏼‍♀️🐚
